8/31 Homework

Homework:
1. Please work on finishing the designs for your alphabet.
2. Go to the tab at the top of the screen labeled "Drawing Break Down". Apply the 4 steps shown in the example to the Owl and Squirrel, in your sketchbook full page. This exercise is a great way to break down a complex image for drawing.
3. Remember to check out Sketch Book Skool.

8/24 Homework

Great night everyone!

Wow! so far in class we have used:
1. Shape tools
2. Shape builder tool
1. Line tool
2. Pen tool
3.Paint brush
4.Blob Brush
5. Width tool (and saved a brush we made from it.)

(Over the course of the semester we will be using all of them again. Before we begin with the larger projects, its important for you to know how to move around within the program and begin under standing it work flow.)

Homework: 
1. Go to the Drawing Birds tab at the top of the screen and follow the directions.
2. Instead of having you read the textbook, I have placed a tab at the top of the blog labeled 
Drawing in Illustrator, it contains several good videos for you to review.

Draw: On one page of your sketchbook, in neat rows, in pencil only, a minimum of 12 tools. Keep the drawings simple. We will review and ink in Illustrator on Thursday.

*Notice how simply the drawings are done and that 
they are evenly spaced.

Think about a time when you played with something as a child when you projected personality onto an object and gave it a voice. We will talk about it in class on Thursday.
