Weekend Drawing Project

1. Above are the steps I took to create my own version of the photo that is on the far right.
2. Below is the photo that I would like you to use as inspiration... do not draw exactly what you see, allow your inner voice guide you.
3. Use the Blue/Red pencil for the sketch.
4. Add ink using two pen thicknesses.
5. Draw the character full page, (Color will come later).

If you have the textbook, you can start reading chapters:
#1 on creating files
#3 on workspace
#4 on panels
#6 on geometric objects
Don't Panic... the chapters are very short with lots of pictures.

Homework Drawing Project

Hi everyone, your first drawing project:
1. Draw a breakfast cereal character from your childhood. Try to pick one that evokes a memory from your childhood.
2. Draw on a single page in your sketchbook, full page.
3. If you have a style of drawing that you have developed, go ahead and try drawing the character in that style. If you are not sure about a style, go ahead and draw the image exactly as you see it.
4. You can use any medium that you are comfortable with, pen, pencil, marker etc... we will look at them on Thursday.
5. Below are some samples of cereal characters to jog your memory, if you do not see one you have an association with go ahead and try a google search.

Have fun.
