Zine Project
Zine Project:
1. Go to the Zine project Tab at the top of the blog and read through the information/watch the videos.
2. On Thursday, be ready to talk about 2-3 possible ideas for a Zine project.
3. On Thursday, I will give you a blank booklet that has the same number of pages as the Zine, be ready to start sketching ideas and planning out the tools you might want to use on each page of your zine.
4. On Thursday, I will bring in some published zines for you to read through.

Homework
Book Cover Redesign
1. Watch book design Video by Chip Kid.
2. Read your book and try to pin point a feeling, phrase or moment in the book that you can use a spring board for a redesigned book cover.
3. Be ready to talk about your choices with me on Thursday.

1. For Tuesday, bring in a book from childhood or a book that you enjoyed sharing with your children. It should be a picture book.
2. If you are behind on your homework drawing, this is good chance to get caught up.

1. Go to the "Mesh Tool" Tab at the top of the blog and review the video before Thursdays class.
2. In your sketchbook, full page, in pencil first, then ink your illustrated version of the "The Great Pumpkin" as described in the Charles Schulz story It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
