Homework:
In your sketchbook draw 6 different types of bugs, use pencil to design, add ink, neatness counts. Try drawing the bugs in three rows with two bugs in each row, spread out evenly across the page. Keep the designs simple. We will look at on Thursday.

I just wanted to let you know that the DVC school paper "The Inquirer" is looking for cartoonists and illustrators. You can earn units, put staff artist on your resume, plus... your work will be published. Interested? ask me about in in class on Tuesday.

1. If you have not done so yet, please read the chapters 19 & 20 on Type pages:247-286

2. On Thursday we will look at the drawings you created in the booklet that I gave you as homework last Thursday.

3. Also on Thursday we will look at the pattern designs you turned in.

4. Thursday I will assign a project based on the use of type.
