Visual Texture Project

Visual Texture Project
Goal:
Stylize a landscape, emphasize layering in Illustrator and the use of texture.
What to do:
1.  Using a photograph or painting of a landscape, isolate shapes within the larger image and apply textures to emphasize each shape. (A good image will have foreground, middle ground and background) Use pen tool for this.
2. Place your texture patterns into the objects.
3.   Pay attention to highlights and shadows.
4.   Keep all of your layers.
5.   The final image should be no smaller than 8.5” x 11”

*Hint…think Ansel Adams landscape as seen through the eyes of Vincent van Gough
