Visual Texture Project
Goal:
Stylize
a landscape, emphasize layering in Illustrator and the use of texture.
What
to do:
1. Using a photograph or
painting of a landscape, isolate shapes within the larger image and apply
textures to emphasize each shape. (A good image will have foreground, middle
ground and background) Use pen tool for this.
2. Place your texture patterns into the objects.
3. Pay attention to
highlights and shadows.
4. Keep all of your layers.
5. The final image should be
no smaller than 8.5” x 11”
