9/22 Homework

      In your sketchbook draw 6 different types of cats, big, small, wild, fluffy, use pencil to design, add ink, neatness counts. Try drawing the cats in three rows with two cats in each row, spread out evenly across the page. Keep the designs simple. We will look at them on Tuesday.

*Since you are drawing an animal, here is a drawing tip that may help your approach to design. It's a 4 step process.

9/20 Homework

Please ink the versions of the 3 Pigs and the wolf that you have chosen for the project. On Thursday, you can scan in the inked characters. Make sure to watch the video in the previous post before the next class.

Welcome everyone to the October 2014 Monster Draw Challenge. 

Each day I will post an image of a monster with a little background on the creature. The goal is to be inspired by what you see and to reinterpret the character. Select the link below for the image.

Homework

Over the weekend:

1. Use blue and red pencil, add black marker paying attention to line quality.
2. Draw 12 images of the same type of object. 
3. Draw 6 of the objects on each page, do not let them overlap or go off the edge.
4. The subjects may not be organic. Everything must have been created by human hands.
5. Object must show a level of complexity showing texture, over lapping shapes and text is optional
6. Color is optional.7. Keep the line work clean and not sketchy. 
8. Have fun!
